We're a small team of expat travellers who have lived out of suitcases across more than 50 countries — and who now hold down regular jobs in Europe, like most of the people reading this.
Why Fairweather exists
We started Fairweather in 2026 for a simple reason: planning a trip had become a second job. Between browser tabs, blogs and forums, answering "where should I go in March?" took a whole evening. In a life this busy, your holidays shouldn't start with homework. So we built the tool we always wished existed — one honest page that matches your free weeks with the places at their very best.
How we choose what to show
Weather first, because it makes or breaks a trip. Honest budgets, with flights kept separate so nothing hides in the fine print. And real capitals and flagship cities, because your first trip to a country should start where its life is loudest.
Who's behind it
Between us we've crossed six continents, missed more connections than we can count and learned the hard way when not to visit almost everywhere. Fairweather is where those lessons live — so your week off lands in the right place, first try.
